BIOGRAPHY
With an arsenal of vintage tones and creative arrangements, Providence based Hello Mahalo offers a fresh take on modern rock. Nominated by Motif Magazine as one of the breakthrough artists of the year, Hello Mahalo’s improvisation, dueling guitars, and imaginative lyrics have captivated audiences across Southern New England. The band’s entrancing and energetic live show flows seamlessly through power-pop, mellow grooves, and driving rock – all performed with the utmost musicality and musicianship.
Following their performance in the 2007 WBRU Rock Hunt Finals, Hello Mahalo’s continued success included a coveted spot on the WBRU Summer Concert Series, playing direct support for Boston-based Guster. Within their first year as a band, Hello Mahalo played to sold out crowds at Lupos Heartbreak Hotel, performed at area festivals and showcases, and made their debut on television and live radio.
