"Mike SOS"

"Well, enough for formalities, as the NYC group Hello Nurse have got both the call and response ready for any inter gender social situation. Sounding like a cross between Weezer, The Police, and Fugazi, this quartet's expansive insight to the indie rock genre elicits a lot of finger snapping, hand clapping, and feel good sing alongs, especially on the contagious "Animalympics". Melding jagged indie rock with cuddly '50s make-out music, Hello Nurse make the kind of music that would be included in the big budgeted film version of HAPPY DAYS, complete with leather jackets and pink scarves aplenty. For a lighthearted yet ultimately satisfying listening experience, get a musical checkup from Hello Nurse." - Too Square, Music Zine

"Rocking the Scene"

"Combining elements of super-catchy pop-rock and 50s pop (think Weezer) have assembled an impressive set of songs for a debut, replete with memorable guitar riffs, doo-wop harmonies and unique vocals of Mike Garcia. Easily one of my favorite new bands in a long while, if solid pop-rock with a retro kick sounds like it’s up your alley, give ‘em a go." - RockingTheScene.com, Music Web Site

"Watch The World Magazine"

"They create perfectly crafted pop rock songs. Insanely hummable and gloriously catchy this is the kind of thing that would make even the most hardcore Goth smile. Fantastic. Four Stars" - Watch:The:World Magazine, UK

Bio

Mike, Ed, Joe, and Christian met in February of 2004 through mutual friends in the New York City indie rock scene. The four bandmates bring a wealth of experience to Hello Nurse that belies their age, having collectively played with artists in such groups as Taking Back Sunday, The Mars Volta, OKGO, Macy Gray, Lauren Hill, and the French Kicks. Since that time, Hello Nurse has used aggressive DIY promotion and a strong work ethic to build an enthusiastic grassroots following.
