Bio
Hello Nurse is a young, catchy melodic rock band based in Brooklyn with a strong following of loyal fans. The band promises minimal amounts of the requisite NYC moping, preening, and shoe-gazing. In addition, no eyeliner has been abused in the making of a Hello Nurse song. Instead, expect a high-energy rock show replete with sweaty sing-along choruses, thoughtful lyrics, and tight musical interplay.
In between browsing for roommates and romance, vocalist Mike Garcia, guitarist Ed Gross, bassist Joe Crespo, and drummer Christian Sparling met via the Craigslist website in February of 2004. Shortly thereafter, premier NYC venues began booking Hello Nurse for headlining weekend shows. Word-of-mouth buzz and aggressive DIY promotion ensure raucous crowds, and sexy nurses, at every Hello Nurse performance.
Highlights:
∑ Invited to 2004 CMJ Music Marathon (Continental, October 13, 2004)
∑ Performed over 40 shows concentrated in the NYC area 2004-2005 YTD

∑ Collected over 1,000 names & e-mail addresses for mailing list
