Long time friends Kelly Thornton and Heather Christianson began playing music together in the summer of 2002. The group had several names and several members before settling into its current lineup in 2004. With the name Hello Scenario picked, and a drummer, Tim Lottridge, Kelly and Heather put the finishing touches on a set of songs, playing their first show as the headliner for a Nadamucho.com New Music Monday Night at the Rendezvous JewelBox Theater in September of 2004. Since then, Hello Scenario has recorded a 4-song EP entitled Peripheral Logic and played several shows at various venues around Seattle.
The songs of Seattle based trio Hello Scenario roam from upbeat and punchy tunes to mellow lullabies, each filled with lush female harmonies that evoke a haunting feeling. Vintage guitar amps, keyboard orchestrations, and hypnotic rolling drums create an overall ominous tone and a unique bittersweet sound. The melodies carry poetic lyrics with an often unhappy context over dreamy music.
