Biography

Hello Shark has been making music since 2006. Distributing a mix of songs supported by a number of different labels in the United States. Hello Shark has toured the country extensively playing with Jana Hunter, Castanets, Casiotone for the Painfully Alone, Karl Blau, Nat Baldwin, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Phosphorescent, YACHT, Parenthetical Girls, Deer Tick, Kurt Vile, Viking Moses, and Mount Eerie.
Lincoln Halloran started the project while living in northern Vermont and since then there has been a largely rotating cast of musicians by his side. In the summer of 2011 Hello Shark released the full length album "break arms" on Burst and Bloom Records along with a split 7 inch with Advance Base "formerly Casiotone for the Painfully Alone" on PIAPTK Records. Hello Shark's line-up has remained the same since the conception and recording of these two releases.
