-*-Description-*-
A perfect blend of indie, math rock, and emo - New York’s Help Me Help You crafts songs that will make you laugh about the good times and cry about the bad.
Citing influences such as Pedro The Lion, American Football, and Saves The Day, the band molds the riffing of 90’s Midwestern Emo and the tempo of New Jersey punk rock circles at the turn of the century to create a mixture of sounds that are strikingly familiar, yet satisfyingly refreshing.
The groups second EP “Seasons” continues this potent combination, from the questioning of one’s existence in the technical “Ins & Outs”, to the apologetic, nostalgia ridden lyrics of Midwestern-esque “I’ll Remember That.”.
-*-Bio-*-
Formed around the New York Metropolitan area, Indie Rock band Help Me Help You consists of Devin Wojtanek (guitar), Patt O'Brien (drums/studio production), Steve Conzo (vocals/guitar), and Mike Burkowsky (Bass/additional production). The band released their debut EP Post-Stadium Era in June of 2013, which was a compilation of songs Steve, Dev, and Mike wrote while attending the Berklee College of Music. After graduation Steve, Dev, & Mike moved to the New York area where they reunited with childhood friend O'Brien. They started seriously writing music together in August of 2013. The results of which, was the Seasons EP - Help Me Help You's first proper, cohesive release. Help Me Help You are currently writing and recording their full length record.
