Feeling a bit camera shy

Hemenway’s songwriting, which combines elements found in the music of Billy Joel, Dave Matthews, and U2, is a delicate balance of musicality, technicality, and character. The melodically inspired, rhythmically charged guitar riffs that are defining characteristics of Kelly’s guitar style, propel each song and create musical hooks as intriguing and identifiable as his vocals. To complement his unique foundation and complete the band, Peter needed a very special group of musicians. Perry Carbone, keyboardist, vocalist, and percussionist, was also a Berklee graduate with a degree in Music Production and Engineering. Drummer Sean McCormack, a student at St. Thomas Aquinas College, was the perfect fit. The last to join was Peter "Ben" Connors, an accomplished bassist/vocalist who toured and performed extensively with Pennsylvania cover band UUU and Florida metal band One. With influences ranging from the Beatles to Rush, Springsteen to Sting, John Mayer to Jeff Buckley, and Live to the Wallflowers, Hemenway’s signature sound is unlike anything in it’s genre. While constantly evolving and progressing, the music speaks to people of every generation, demographic, and background.
