Hemmingway are a female fronted electronic/fx guitar duo, comprising of CeCe Hemmings (vocals/synths/programming) and David Moriaty (guitar).
The pair met in 2016 during one of CeCe's On The Pulse events, and chatted about how they'd always wanted to mix live guitars with electronic beats and synths. And so Hemmingway was born.
Since then, they have gone on to release a debut single (Rise Again) and EP (Hemmingway) in 2017, which have received support from several radio shows, including BBC Introducing. They have clocked up an impressive 60+ shows in the Southeast, including Priory Live Festival and Cosmic Puffin Festival.
This year, they plan to record their debut album, and release another single this spring.
