Henry Colle

Ever since I was a very young child, I have loved singing. Whether it be musical theater, pop, classical, rock, or heavy metal, I have always been captivated by vocal performance. I started singing when my parents took me to church and noticed how much I enjoyed humming along with the choir. Ever since then music has been a defining aspect in my life: from singing in choirs, to private lessons, to majoring in vocal performance at one of New York City's great arts high schools, Frank Sinatra School of the Arts.

Despite this I never knew my voice until I began playing guitar. Playing guitar allowed me the freedom to test my range and abilities as a singer, giving me a platform for technique and showing me how to blend musically with an instrument. Most importantly it brought songwriting into my life which led me to where I am now - using the most poignant memories of my life and my knowledge of theory to build honest and intelligently melodic songs based on the sincere life of a young artist., .
