Bio
Our main influences are Stevie Wonder, Donnie Hathaway, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Jeff Buckley, and basically anything motown. I'd say what sets us apart from other bands is that frankly I don't hear many bands doing this type of throwback style. Everyone that we go to school with at SUNY Purchase is trying to either bring back the 80's or trying to be the hippest new hipster band. So we just wanted to play the music that really inspires us, even if it's not quite "in" at the moment. We don't keep it completely old school though because we like to fuse in hip hop beats and a bit heavier guitar at times. We want to keep it fresh as well as having a vintage feeling as well
