Herbert Guðmundsson is one of Iceland's most recognized artists; a singer, songwriter and producer/publisher of music. He has been active on the Icelandic music scene from the 1970's. First performing in some of the more known rock and roll bands at the time and cast into roles in Jesus Christ Superstar when it was first staged in Iceland and later for the play Faust in the National Theatre of Iceland.

Then in 1985 he made a personal break through with his solo album "Dawn Of The Human Revolution". At the time he was known for having put all his possessions on the line to produce the album - that turned out to be a success, as the albums leading song "Can't Walk Away" charted number one for thirteen consecutive weeks. From then on Herbert has published eight records.

Many of his song's have become hits. From 2008 his sound has changed becoming more joyous and contemporary. His latest work has received critical acclaim and interest because of his development and it will be very interesting to see how his career progresses in the next few years!
