Bio
Heritage Centre are a 5 piece rock band with a penchant for big beats and catchy choruses. Fully independent and self managed, the band are working hard to raise their profile and get their music heard.
Having made a name for themselves with their early EPs and great live show, the band took some time away to craft their debut album with Canadian producer David Newfeld. Inspired by bands such as Weezer, The Flaming Lips and Wilco, Heritage Centre didn't want to make an album that was entirely polished and clean. Working with Dave in an old church, using an array of vintage and quirky gear, the band crafted something sonically unlike anything they had done before. The resulting album Alright, Check It Out, released on September 14th, mixes punchy percussion with melodic instrumentation and marks a definite evolution in the bands sound.
