Bio

It's Melbourne's Duke of Windsor on a Saturday night. Beer and sweat collide with feedback as a Telecaster is brought within an inch of its life. A snap of the drumsticks and another call to arms is launched on the devoted spectators and bar flies - HER MAJESTY'S FINEST are back with their brand new single 'Debt Collector'.

Following the hip shaking 'Sgt. Speedway EP' of 2003, the band have further upped the rock stakes, completing a powerful set of tracks including this new offering.  'Debt Collector', a homage to
cinematic vigilantes (Night Of The Hunter, Taxi Driver) offers up a tougher HER MAJESTY'S FINEST sound.

Wishing to harness the raw critical mass of the band's combined experience, the lads loaded up the van with VB and enough spaghetti and meatballs to last a week, and headed a few hours west of Melbourne to Port Campbell. Holed up in an old farm house with producer Matt Voigt (Living End, Augie March, Cat Power), the lads created their forthcoming album 'Warning Bell', retreating to Melbourne institution Sing Sing to complete the job.

The product of this rock n roll road trip is one of the best examples of what can be achieved when a band comes of age. The first fruit of the sessions is "Debt Collector", the perfect teaser from the album. The tracks will be available worldwide from November via digital download from places such as iTunes, MyCokeMusic and Napster overseas and locally online from Ninemsn, HMV, Sanity, Chaosmusic, Bigpond and many others.

This taste test will be followed up in 2005 as the Warning Bell begins to toll.
