Heroine December

Heroine December’s story is just as unique as each band member and the music itself.

You may recognize lead singers Maya & Nandy from touring the world with Prince for 2 1/2 years as part of the NPG singing back-up and dancing at shows such as the Superbowl Half time show and also being featured in his music videos, on his planet earth record and 21 nights coffee table book.

After working with and being mentored by him the two Australian twin sister have since worked with other artists like Rihanna, Chris Brown and Letoya Luckett, left their marks in movies, fashion campaigns and started their own charity project called “The Village of Dreams” but no matter what, they’ve always kept on writing and creating until they found the perfect mix of their multi-cultural heritage in music.

Heroine December is just that! With Brad, Ben, Craig and Matt the 6 of them have created a unique blend of pop elements combined with a musicianship and feel that is merging No Doubt with Rihanna, Pink and Katy Perry and bringing you a high energy show that will sweep you off of your feet

This is not your average rock band, not your average musicians and definitely not your average team behind this band! The first photo shoot was done by celebrity photographer Randee St. Nicholas, the music video directed by Yolande Geralds, with cameos from Letoya Luckett, Nick Hogan and Tommy “Tiny” Lister, and the band name itself was inspired by the girls mentor himself.

So get ready in 2011 as Heroine December will be releasing their first single and music video and will then hit the road touring the US and Europe!
