It seems like it was only a few months from yesterday that the Chicago-area band Hero In Eden was jamming in someone's backyard, before it took over small stages like the Wire, Fizz Bar and Grill and Bottom Lounge.
And then, the group, made up of brothers (Greg Okal and Tony Okal), a cousin (Paul Samatas) and childhood friends ( Tom Johnson and Dave Centeno) quickly built a fan base, playing original songs (“Hollows,” “Wither”) and rock renditions.
