Born and raised in Detroit, MI. my parents played a lot of funk, soul, and gospel music. Around age 9, I began to discover his passion for hip hop and dance. After High School, I moved to Orlando to compete on a national level. My dance team won 1st place on World of Dance and made it to the quarter finals on America’s Got Talent. Dancing became the catalyst to expressing myself through music so I decided to make the move to Nashville to pursue this artistry. Since then, I’ve been heavily focused on creating a style of music that makes people have a "feel good" experience when they listen. I want people to forget about all their troubles and just have a good time. Now I’m locally known as the dancing rapper that makes any room smile. I have represented Nashville and won 1st place in the Coast 2 Coast: World Music Conference; and have been collaborating with local, Grammy award winning artists and producers of all genres. My music has been featured on Netflix, Hawaii Five-O, Empire and soon to be on the new Amazon show Fairfax. My band, Hew & the Gee’s, brings a unique soulful vibe to the music. I have played many popular venues and events in Nashville, including the rooftop of Assembly Food Hall on infamous Broadway, Grimey’s stage at the Tomato Art Festival and sold out the 1st all hip hop show at The Basement. I now have the first live hip hop residency in downtown Nashville at Jane’s on Top. I love introducing local Rap and R&B artists to a city that has mostly been known for country music.
