Bio
I have been writing and recording music since the age of twelve. I started learning music on the piano until I discovered the guitar and spent most of my early teenage years in my bedroom practicing. During this time I joined an alternative rock band called Mothball and with them learned the dynamics of collaboration, recording, and gigging. Toward the end of our time together, I had started writing much quieter and sensitive acoustic songs that didn't quite fit in a rock band. When our drummer moved away, we went our separate ways. Two members went on to form the funk rock group Mojotone and I began recording songs in my bedroom four track cassette recorder. I began to play the cello and embrace the idea of playing all the instruments on a recording by myself. I chose the name Anandamide for the music I was creating. In late 2007 I put together a collection of recordings for an EP titled Take One Every Morning. I made only fifty copies, it received very little distribution. In the time since then, I have been music student at Perpich Arts High and searching for my artistic identity and a songwriter, poet, guitarist, and cellist. Through diversified musical and life experiences and the support of my friends, I have found the inspiration to once again start recording and sharing my music under the name He Who Hesitates. I have faith that the months to come will be productive and there will be more songs and performances soon. Thank you to all who have listened.
