Bad karma from the Granite State comes to you with the release of “27" and upcoming tour.

Cold, dark places are notorious nurturing things like alcoholism, suicide, paranoia and brutal music. Like the Pacific Northwest, or Scandinavia, Northern New Hampshire is a weird place. Lurking just underneath it’s exterior of “Marge look at the foliage” Americana is a disturbing world of UFO abductions, militia lunatics loaded on gunpowder and Rebel Yell, poverty inbreeding , insanity and a very heavy band called Hexerei...
Founded out of a combination of mind numbing boredom and sheer desperation songwriter and Bassist , Mike Bergeron, and songwriter/vocalist, Travis Pfenning, this band has spent the last four years perfecting it’s sound, direction and line up and is now poised to roar out of the backwoods and directly onto a stage in your hometown. On March 10th the band will release it first “real” album, ”27". It is 10 tracks of mayhem, malevolence and mood swings recorded legendary New Alliance Studio in Boston, Massachusetts. This studio has been hallowed ground for hard and heavy music for 15 years and has spawned benchmark hard and heavy records from,Converge, Tree, Godsmack, Scissorfight, Destructathon and countless others..With co-producer Ethan “Jesus” Deusault at the board and voodoo mastering engineer Nick Z on the back end of production, “27” is due for street release on March 10th, 2006. Clocking in at10 tracks of blistering mayhem, “27" is vintage New Alliance meets state of the art Hexerei. The bottom end rattles the bones of the long dead, the top wails at invisible banshees and the middle hits you in the chest like a sledgehammer in the hands of a very pissed off moonshiner..It was the perfect setting for this group from this angry group of back woods boys to exorcize their demons. The Granite State cd release party will be held at Club Electra in Lebanon, NH, with radio support from the local hard rock radio station Rock 93.9 and 101.7. Then Hexerei heads out on a tour down the eastern seaboard into the heart of the dirty south and winding up in Ft.Lauderdale to share the stage at the Loco-Lauderdale Festival with Florida heavies, Non-Point . After that the objective is to tour until the,wheels come off the van, torch it ,get another van, and tour more. These guys really need to stay out of New Hampshire before it fully takes them over.
