Bio
Hexxt was formed in 2001 by Craig "Lones" Loney. He then recruited friends Jay "Dutch" Kluver and Mark "Minkis" Montroy. The band started out named Black-Out. After writing and working on the first few songs a drummer was brought into the band. This foursome went on to write a number of songs and played their first show at an outdoor party in front of around 500 people. After many replacements in drummers the band finally recruited Matt Howard in 2004. The band shortly after adding Matt, recruited Adam Kirkey (a friend of Matt's). Finally the band was complete. Black-Out was forced to change their name due to copyrights and after a long search came up with Hexxt, our own twist on the word hexed meaning jynxed or cursed. The band recorded a 4 song demo and started playing many shows. After selling a lot of merchandise and gaining great success the band was sure to hit it big, that's until Matt Howard (drummer number 6) left the band to go off with the military to afghanistan.
The band looked all over for a drummer equivalent to Matt and the closest match they could find was Dan Gadbois. Hexxt played a few shows with Dan and they were all great success' also.
It is our goal, passion and dream for this 5 piece metal band to take not only Canada and the U.S.A, but the whole world by storm.
