Emerging from Buffalos prestigious hardcore scene known for bands like Snapcase and Every Time I Die, hey Sunday offers music from the other side of the spectrum. hey Sunday combines shimmering guitar sounds with smooth vocals and piano melodies reminiscent of late 90s alt rock like The Gin Blossoms and The Goo Goo Dolls. Formed in the Spring of 2007, with an average age of 19, hey Sunday has been compared to the likes of indie giants Jimmy Eat World, and The Get Up Kids. Although these are monumental or even outlandish assertions, Their New ep Schedualed for release in late spring, recorded with Producer Mike Brylinski(the goo goo dolls) at Chameleon West Studios is sure to make old fans happy and open the eyes of new fans. With a diverse array of fans, hey Sunday is ready to show the world that Buffalo, NY has more to offer than hardcore, cold climate, and hot wings.
