"frighteningly close to the early legendary Pink Floyd days. A pleasure to work with. It's like being at and mixing the live shows I was never able to see." - Sound Engineer/Club Infinity

Bio

Hey You (A Tribute To Pink Floyd) is the brainchild of two brothers who felt it necessary to encapsulate, for as long as they can, the experience of going to a Pink Floyd show circa 1968 to 1979. Before the lavish stage production, before the clean cut look, before the three female background singers, and before there were nine or ten people on stage to perform a Pink Floyd show. Back when it was just Roger Waters, Nick Mason, David Gilmour, and Rick Wright on stage performing their magic. Back when going to a Pink Floyd show meant that the music, and the ambiance, wrapped itself around you and took you along for a couple of hours. Back when musical innovation meant just as much, if not more, than spinning mirrors and a hundred lasers overhead. Back when the music was in sync with a simple, yet majestic, smoke and light show that never over-powered the music but rather added that extra element that no other band in history was able to explore. Back to when Roger Waters insisted that "All of this media stuff is irrelevant - if people come to a show and they don't like it then they don't come back." Back to when you had to go see Pink Floyd at least two nights in a row because no two shows were ever completely the same. Back when Pink Floyd was really PINK FLOYD.
