I grew up between a carbon black refinery and the site of the Adobe Walls battle where they fired a magic bullet. My parents listened to Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Frank Zappa. I grew up loving Genesis. Later I started listening to Bjork, Radiohead and Smashing Pumpkins. There was no way to get obscure music in the Texas panhandle. I have metal rods in my spine to fix my scoliosis but I'm still crooked. I joined an alt country band at 19 and played with them until two of the members went to Tennessee to make moonshine. Now I'm in Hidden Indians and I have magic bullets.
