Hidden Soul

A fan once said, "These guys sound like Pink Floyd meets Breaking Benjamin with everything in between!"

Biography

For a young band, Hidden Soul has more years under their belt than one would guess. Starting out as two pairs of best bro’s from adjacent towns, these guys have been making original music since 2001. Mark ( A.K.A The Ripper) and Chris found each other in Lehighton PA in the 6th grade and immediately began to make music together. A similar story stands for Lloyd and Yogi who grew up just a few miles up the highway in an equally small town, Palmerton. Both pairs developed quickly into original acts spawning a few different bands along the way. In 2005, after splitting from Chris in search of a new direction, Mark met Matthew Lloyd Derrick. Lloyd had also been split from Yogi for some time. The two hit it off and went through a few lineup changes before finding home with Chris on drums and Yogi handling bass. These four are a gang. They are a unit. They are four best friends connected by a love for music, and a love for life.

In 2007, the band re-located to Boston, MA and in 2008 hooked up with well-known producer Matthew Ellard to record a new four song EP due out in the fall of 08'.

Discography

Hidden Soul's EP from 2005 entitled "Found" was just the start of the bands incline in North-East PA. During the summer of 2005 the band sold over 300 copies on word of mouth and hand distribution alone.

A Crack In the Shell, the band's first full length release hit in the summer of 2006 to much praise. The Single "Beautiful" gained the band radio play on local stations 95.1 WZZO and 97.9x.
