High 5 After Sex

Primary members are Jon and Taylor. They met in the summer of 2008 in Burnaby, BC.

At first they just jammed with Dave (now sometime bassist) and this dude named Ker, but by x-mas of that year Jon had vibed both of them out and made a pact with Taylor to make a wild band strictly for commercial purposes. Jamming for new project commenced at the start of 2009 and recordings were made over the summer.

Dave plays bass for us if we need him, and we've got this new guy Brad trained up as well. In 2010 we've played a couple of solid shows and made a pretty remarkable new EP.

Jon is an underemployed city planner and was in lots of silly bands growing up in the Toronto area. One got some label attention but it was only because the drummer lived next door to the VP of Universal Music Canada. After his brother fired the drummer the band broke up. Jon is sexy and is happy to have creative control for once. He's super anal but incredibly sweet and a great partier after a couple of drinks.

Taylor is an underemployed welder and a mindblowing drummer. He is originally from Prince Edward Island where he played in Tumbleweed and semi-famous Fugato. He cannot be tamed, so Jon just pretty much goes along with whatever he is doing. Taylor's formative years were influenced by Christian rap artist Michael Peace and the Transformation Crusade along with the Presidents of the United States of America. Oh, and Primus. It shows in everything he does. Ha ha. This self-important redhead kills onstage and at parties with his wild antics and impersonations of cats.

Dave is an underemployed machinist and is originally from Prince Edward Island as well. He is only with us until he starts a progressive metal band with his brother-in-law.

Brad is a software engineer who likes nice things and lives across the street from the studio where we rehearse.
