Highbeams are a Folk Rock trio from Atlanta, GA. An emotionally charged band with songs that shine as bright as the name. Their high energy shows and feel good music have been seen and heard all over the South East.

Biography

Three brothers with true passion for music. Adam and Ian Pendlington have been as close as brothers can be since birth. The boys played in a few different bands growing up, but finally came together to make a band built with the strongest bond in the universe:

family.

Bass player Stephen Quinn completed the trio just before graduating high school. In their first meeting they tossed around song ideas including tracks from the future debut EP.

3 years later they have traveled across the country and performed all over their home state of Georgia from small house parties to large festivals. The band coined the term "adventure rock" for themselves from their love of venturing into the unknown. They became well known for their passionate, high energy live performances and perfectly complementary harmonies. They finally solidified their local fan base with the release of their first full length album in May 2013.

While touring Georgia and surrounding states, the band had been writing a follow up to the 2013 release. Finally choosing to record the next album in their own home, the result captured the truest side of their music...

Highbeams "ONE WORD" was released June 20, 2014. With this album, Highbeams garnered it's first ever nationwide college radio play and even caught the attention of a few major television networks. Along with that, "ONE WORD" set another milestone being the first release to sell completely out of physical copies.

Today Highbeams continues striving to raise the bar for themselves in all aspects of their music.

Highbeams is Adam Pendlington, Ian Pendlington, and Stephen Quinn.

If I Give Up

Written By: Adam Pendlington,Ian Pendlington

If I give you everything that you want
only so I succeed, do I really succeed?
I f I give up what I thought I would need,
then what do I really need?
Guess not as much as you'd believe.

Try with all my might or give up.
Show them all the fight in me's enough.
We'll be told to go home, we can leave or be bold,
but keep in mind we'll grow old. Either way!

So if I give you everything that you want
only so I succeed, do I really succeed?
I f I give up what I thought I would need,
then what do I really need?
Guess not as much as you'd believe.

Now you can only forgive yourself so much
before you're staring at a mirror in disgust.
Is it really okay? Or maybe I should change.
Not today!

So If I give you everything that you want
only so I succeed, do I really succeed?
I f I give up what I thought I would need,
then what do I really need?
Guess not as much as you'd believe.

If I give you everything you want, I wanna know you won't be gone, it's taken every single piece of mind I had inside my head to keep on keeping on or as they say to go big or go home.
And I ain't giving up just yet, I spent my time and every sent I've earned to learn from every man that there's no chance to be the best. I guess I haven't left just yet cause I don't listen to em but you're laughing and I won't give in

Now If I give you everything that you want
only so I succeed, do I really succeed?
I f I give up what I thought I would need,
then what do I really need?
Guess not as much as you'd believe.

Scary Tree

Written By: Adam Pendlington,Ian Pendlington

I don't believe that we have met
and now we have I can't forget
I'm over here and you're up there
you look down on me like you care
and I cannot help myself

Beneath the streetlight I can hold you as we see
the haunting silhouette and ghost of scary tree
the shadows casting over faces as we stand
your fingers locked in mine our perfectly fit and hands
and we cannot help ourselves

when you run safely away
don't forget the safety net beneath us today
it won't always be there

I do believe that we have met
and now we have I won't forget
I'm over here and so are you

We cannot help ourselves
when you run safely away
don't forget the safety net beneath us today
it won't always be there
