High Like Five is pretty bad ass thats all I have to say - Insomnia Radio

these are good guys who show up on time, you'd be suprised to see how uncommon that is.. - Jimi Ward (hot for teacher)

High Like Five, a bunch of nice college boys are doing the wise thing and completely discarding their college educations and what that can bring them in the so-called real world for the much more secure careers of big-shot rock stars - Contra Costa Times

"Perfect kind of Chaos"

their sound deviates from the norm with an occasional bluesy depth of guitar solos or perfectly chaotic (and still precise) drums - The Collegian

Bio

Since High Like Five’s launch three and half years ago, we have gained momentum and the team's exposure is growing each performance. In fact, such is the momentum that the team has built up enough exposure to have performed with several National Musical Acts such as Die Trying (Island Records 2003), Tyrone Wells (Universal Records 2007), Pepper (Atlantic Records 2006), Blackalicious (Epitaph Records 2005), and The Plain White T’s (Hollywood Records 2006). Performing at venues such as Slim's of San Francisco, The Knitting Factory in Hollywood, The Elbow Room, Blake's on Telegraph, The Metro, and the Roxy just to name a few, the band has recieved positive attention throughout California. The members of the Band are Hector Zaragoza, on lead vocals and guitar, Seph Patterson, Bass, and James Fisher, drums. The band meets in the middle between pop punk rock influences, and the blues that drove classic rock. In April 2007 they recorded there first album at Killingsworth Studios in Hollywood California. Produced by Tomas Costanza, the record entitled "Adverbs and Pronouns" speaks of good times, and real life adolescent issues that would appeal to a wide audience. The band would like to come into their own in the near future, actively touring and spreading the sound of music even your mom would like.
