“EXCELLENT SONGWRITING &
MUSICIANSHIP ON CONTEMPORARY
BLUEGRASS, FOLK, & BEYOND.”
- Tim Walsh, Bluegrass Now
“HIGH RANGE is a band to keep an eye on, as is their lead songwriter, Todd Jones. In the meantime, fans of eclecticism and musicians like Peter Rowan, old New Grass Revival, or Old & In the Way might want to give these North Easterners a listen.”
- David Royko, Bluegrass Unlimited
“The writing shows a clear vision for the band as one willing to draw on the sounds of Flatt, Scruggs, Monroe, and such, but also willing to venture forward with the likes of Tony Rice and Bela Fleck – possibly beyond.”
- Sam Pfeifle, The Portland Phoenix
“HIGH RANGE has a sound all its own – full of surprises, instrumental excellence, some fine vocals and some absolutely killer originals.”
- Dave Higgs, Bluegrass Breakdown, Nashville Public Radio
“There are solid harmonies … as well as some high lonesome jams.”
- Ivan Emke, Dirty Linen
“HIGH RANGE has forged a tight, compelling ensemble sound that is highly musical and thoroughly entertaining.”
- David McCarty, Bluegrass Unlimited
“HIGH RANGE will lift your spirit.”
- Michael Khouri, Northeast Performer
High Range treats its audience to a level of polished musicianship and casual professionalism normally reserved for venues like Public Radio International's Prairie Home Companion or Mountain Stage. They are that good! - Terry Littlefield, York Weekly
"Not only are their recordings top-notch, their performance is entertaining and uplifting as band members weave around one microphone, obviously enjoying each other's musicianship." - Weirs Times

Bio
HIGH RANGE is a high energy acoustic group with a long list of rave reviews from national publications. They highlight original music with a mix of covers on guitar, bass, mandolin, fiddle, banjo and drums. Their heart-felt songs, singing and harmonies reflect the soul of working-class northeasterners. With fine vocals and instrumental work, the band moves with grace from straight-up bluegrass numbers to tunes that swing.
