Bio

Emanating out of Central Florida, millions of visitors are entertained each year by a unique street group named High Voltage. Lead by Al "Fliprok" Fuentes. This team of acrobats, B-Boys&Girls, Gymnasts and Entertainers create a high energy, extreme acrobatics show emanating the past 10 years at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
Dance and showmanship has always been a part of Al Fuentes life. Growing up in the Latino section of East Chicago, he recalls the influence of dance from the many local festivals. It was a tough neighborhood. Raised by his grandparents, Al recalls the values and positive reinforcement they instilled in him. Believe in yourself, work hard and do what you love” is what he quickly says his grandparents provided. Those values have carried me through life, he said.
Al spent 10 years dancing and performing NBA halftime shows, first with the Chicago Bulls and then with the Orlando Magic where he is currently the Entertainment Director for it’s Blue Crew. He recently was consultant and co-choreographer for Disney’s new park attraction “Stitch’s Super Sonic Celebration” which opened in Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland in May 2009.
Al Fuentes had a vision to take the passion of his life to a level where street dancing (b-boying) could be respected for its art and entertainment value. At the same time he wanted to create a team of dance professionals that offered every aspect of a perfect extreme performance with the skills of gymnastics and acrobatic stunts choreographed to music. The success of Al “doing what he loves” is currently carrying his 25 member team all around the world where he continues to be on the cutting edge of the Hip Hop, B-boy Movement . Some currently tour with Madonna, Fergie, Pink and are featured in Film, Television, Dance Videos and Award winning Documentaries. Al "Fliprok" Fuentes has been featured on such televisions shows as, "MTV's Sink or Swim", "Ellen De Generes”, ABC Monday Night Football, and in 2009 3 of Al’s crew took home the Gold in NBC’s SuperStars of Dance.
