Hillary Flowers was literally the last baby born in the 70's in Freeborn County, Minnesota. She has been singing since she could speak and she has been writing her own original songs for over 5 years and she has more than 50 demos recorded.
Hillary Flowers recieved her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in December of 2002 with an emphasis on Performance Art. During her studies, She was the lead singer for the Electronic Pop Band XOR in Wisconsin producer, Brian Liston at B-Grade Studios. During her studies, she was venturing to Chicago, Illinois every weekend to perform West African, Flamenco, and Interapative Dance.
Interestingly, Hillary has had her life on the "move," and she has managed to move a total of 29 times in her life span. Upon moving to New York, in the Fall of 2003, with two suitcases, no job and no apartment, she currently resides in the Lower East Side of Manhattan with the bohemians.
Hillary has been writing original songs with various NYC Producers and Musicians. She can be seen live singing improvisation at various open mics and jams throughout the city and performing over Dance/ Pop Tracks.
Hillary Flowers is a member of ASCAP and The National Academy of Popular Music (Songwriter's Hall of Fame). Her songs can be heard on various web sites that include, Sound Click, Funender, Artist Gigs, Song Planet, and The Open Project, Vitaminic and Broadjam.
Hillary Flowers is also a Fashion Designer and her Music and Fashion has been showcased on the "Discovery Times Channel" "Staten Island Comedy Show" "The New Yorkers" and Live at Crobar and Show Night Club. You can purchase her clothing in Manhattan Speciality Shops in the East Village at "Tatiana" on St. Marks Street and "Apollo Braun" in the Lower East Side on Orchard and Houston Street.
