Through the failed stints of a handful of previous bands, Hillbilly Deathride has emerged a determined soul in the music business. Though these country boys know life is more than a "funny funny riddle", they're hell-bent on building a name for themselves, no matter what touble or on-stage antics they get themselves into. Before they come on stage, they lull you into a trance-like state with various Hillbilly Intros (everything from the Dukes of Hazzard Theme song, to Dueling Banjo's complete with frightening clips from the movie (Deliverance), then, just as the intro music comes to a close they storm into your ears with unbelievable ferocity. When the vocals aren't being screamed, unrelentlessly, at your face, a fully loaded Whiskey Cannon Squirt Gun is unloading your favorite Poison down your throat. From beginning to end, a Hillbilly Deathride show keeps your fists clenched, teeth gritting, and your head banging.
