Hired Goons pays tribute to “The Simpsons” via catchy punk songs on Everything’s Coming Up Milhouse. The band understandably draws inspiration from the Ramones for cartoon tales like “Let’s Go To The Moe’s” and the title track, though “The Homer” also taps into The B-52’s. A cover of The Monkees’ “(I’m Not Your) Steppin’ Stone” adds to the fun, and Hired Goons takes on Shakespeare with the clever “I Like Revenging.” (www.gabbagabbadoh.com)

Bio
From the shores of Springfield, past the Grand Chasm and like a Canyonero zipping through Route 401, we are HIRED GOONS. Gabba Gabba D'OH!
Meet Monty, Homer, Otto, and Kodos - joined together to celebrate their favorite band, while writing new songs about what goes on in their little town. The Hired Goons recorded their debut album, Everything's Coming Up Milhouse in March 2008. Their CD release show, held at Mix Bar Chicago on August 9, 2008, was a huge success. CDs are now available in record stores and comic book shops across the Chicagoland area.
