His Coming Day

His Coming Day, a five piece Southern/Metal band from Palmdale, CA was formed in 2003. The founding members were, siblings Jena and Chris Correa (drums and bass/vocals), Daniel Willey (Guitar/Vocals) and Josh McClanahan (Guitar/Vocals). During this lineup the band left their alternative rock roots, and began experimenting with a grittier more raw sound. Over the course of multiple member changes, ...in which Jena and Josh both stepped down the band polished its newer dirtier and heavier sound. Guitarists Cody Montgomery and Ricky Doll (Ex Shipshape And Bristol Fashion) played pivotal rolls in the band's sound. Replacement drummer Ethan Wagner added hardcore influences into the band, and they began writing new material. In February of 2011 the band released it's first official EP, "Hellion" which they recorded throughout 2010 with Producer Joel Hatcher. The current lineup is Daniel Willey (lead vocals), Ethan Wagner (drums), Chris Correa (bass/vocals), Danny Green (guitar/vocals) and Chris Diaz (Guitar) Above all else the band strives to present a message of hope and joy to a hurting world through the love of Jesus Christ. All lyrics are inspired by Christian beliefs and are meant to encourage. "Our mission in this band is to help people", states Wagner, "The only way we know how to do that is through Jesus Christ." His Coming Day wants to make friends...not fans. The only reason we're are in this band is to tell you that you are loved and cherished by Jesus Christ whether you believe it or not. He will never abandon you.
