hisgirlfriday forgoes passive navel-gazing for intense introspection and feverish output. above all hisgirlfriday strives to make beautifully 'sharp' melodic music.

arthur imperial (vocals, guitar, lyrics)
patron saint of inclusivity; hgf ambassador; snappy dresser; phd student; Jeff Buckley devotee; taurus with skyward vocals striking perfection through moments of hopeful sincerity.

jose calucag (guitar, bass, piano, backvocs, stand-up comedian)
mr. joey potter, free katie; anti-barber; culinary expert; PR alumnus; video game pro; does like the strokes, but gets lost and teary eyed during sigur ros; the filipino Johnny Greenwood.

chris trotter (bass, guitar, piano, backvocs, etc. etc. etc)
also of iderdown & mouse, the singer; hat, shoe, book and audio connoisseur; painter; will convert you to a Brian Eno disciple; too many years learning piano; ambient and techno remixes at will.

while still a burgeoning band, hisgirlfriday was a top10 finalist in the Edge102.1/CMW XtremebandSlam Competition as well as DC Music's Last Band Standing competition.

hisgirlfriday also released a 6 track self-titled EP and has been the spotlight of podcasts such as audiopopcorn.net & noisebooth.com. moreover, the band has played at many major venues in toronto such as The Rivoli, Clintons, & The Vatikan and was honoured to play at a WARCHILD CANADA sponsored event at El Mocambo titled "ATTN FREEDOMFIGHTERS" which featured a diverse set of artists from several styles of music.

hisgirlfriday is currently working on their debut LP which will feature new tunes and songs currently being performed live.
