H McCloud

H.McCloud Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Christopher J. Hunter a.k.a. H. McCloud was introduced to music at an early age. Being of Panamanian decent he grew up listening to salsa, jazz, smooth r&b, and the blues. Christopher attended Meyer Levin junior high school in his neighborhood. Where Christopher discovered a talent for playing musical instruments. Chris played the alto saxophone in the school band throughout his three year period in junior high school. In his 7th grade year in Meyer Levin, Chris attended The Julliard school of music for two years. While attending Julliard Chris learned how to play the clarinet. Upon graduating from the Julliard music program Chris began taking Jazz lessons playing the saxophone. It wasn't until the eighth grade that Chris really took a rap career seriously. Almost 7 years later Christopher is a full time rapper, producer, songwriter and is currently enrolled in SAE (school of audio engineering) to learn how to run a studio environment. Christopher was scouted through a family member by 187 records an independent label in Miami Florida at the young age of 15. Since Chris lived in New York and was still in high school, the record company (which at the time had just been established) called upon Christopher to ghost write for a young artist they were thinking of releasing. Christopher has a membership with ASCAP having written songs for up and coming reggae artist Ragga. Also having written songs for up and coming r&b artist LOS. Christopher is very dedicated to knowing everything there is to know about how to break into and survive in the music business. Christopher has done showcases at his old junior high school, the suite, and the nightingale as a solo artist. Chris has also done open mics at the sugar shack and talent showcases at the pyramid with the chase money group. H. McClouds style embodies all of the different styles of rap today. He possesses the talent to write gangster rap and also uplifting and informative songs. H. McClouds music is also personal. H. McCloud is not the average rapper who only rhymes about money, girls and cars. He relates to fans by making music about the things hes been through in his life that many other teenagers go through. H. McCloud continues to get better with time and is constantly growing within his musical abilities.
