I was able to interview local post-hardcore band Hold Your Breath!. The band is based out of York, PA and is becoming one of the more well-known faces of the hardcore scene in Central PA. Hold Your Breath! is a metalcore/hardcore band from York Pennsylvania. They are currently booking and playing shows in the PA/MD/NJ area. Influenced by bands like My Children My Bride, The Acacia Strain and For The Fallen Dreams, HYB! brings a sound lovers of the genre will greatly appreciate, while maintaining their originality. Hold Your Breath! sounds like no one else.
They recently recorded a new single, "The Weak Are Left For Dead", the first release with the new, permanent lineup, and first new material since their 2010 EP release of "The Taste Of Anesthesic And The Promise Of Sleep".
They are always setting new goals for themselves, and always raising the bar to see what else can be accomplished.
This is more than just a band. Its a group of best friends. A FAMILY. And they love the music they make, and they have fun doing it.
