Hollow

Smashing the mold of other melodic alt-metal acts, Hollow justifies its standing in the music community with powerful progressions, jagged guitar riffs, and thought-provoking lyrics, throughout their songs. The best way to describe Hollow's sound is to compare them to some of their favorite bands such as Sevendust, Linkin Park, Disturbed and Godsmack. But despite getting some definite influences from these monsters of metal, Hollow manages to create a very original and unique sound. Lead singer Ryan Raths has been a regular on the Phoenix music scene since he was in high school back in the early nineties with a Jane's Addiction tribute band called "One Too Many". As his musical creativity expanded, Ryan created Hollow and brought on some of the best and brightest musicians in Phoenix. After about three years, Hollow went through a couple of CD recordings and more than a few musicians. The end result are powerful yet radio-friendly tunes like "Grudge", "Hook", "Grounded", "Disaster" and "Beautiful Aggression".
