HOLLY IS EXCITED TO BE IN THE STUDIO RECORDING WITH GRAMMY-AWARD WINNING PRODUCER "KIPPER" (Sting,Mary J Blige,Clay Aiken). THEY ARE WORKING ON NEW MATERIAL THAT WILL BE POSTED TO MYSPACE SOON ...

Holly has since been gigging throughout this year at many London venues, including The Bedford, Cafe de Paris, The Blag Club, Sound, Soho Revue Bar and many more. She has also been writing for Grammy award winning RnB production duo "The Heavyweights" (NeYo, Rihanna). "Holly Rubenstein is a musician's musician. A multi-instrumentalist, with a jazz and soul background, the 20 year-old is soulful beyond her years. Incorporating traditional jazz styles into a youthful pop, her British accent is just right for the U.S. charts and abroad. Rubenstein's real gift is her ability to pen emotional songs, which she really brings to life with the range with her soothing, yet gritty voice. True artistry.- Don't be surprised to hear her soon with the likes of U.K. heavyweights Ronson and Winehouse, or American legends such as Roy Ayers or Herbie Hancock"...'World Spectator review'

Over the past three years Holly has recorded many tracks with producers 'Kipper' (Sting, Clay Aiken), Aron Friedman (Smudge Productions), Hank Hughes (Townhouse Records) and Matt Johnson (Jamiroquai) and is constantly working on new material. She is currently working with many people in the music industry including vocal coaches Carrie and David Grant and is being teamed with songwriters at Notting Hill Publishing. Classically trained on piano, clarinet and sax, her own music is a unique fusion of pop, jazz and R&B. She has composed music since about the age of seven and has had many pieces, both classical and popular, performed to large audiences. As the solo vocalist for the Surrey Youth Jazz Orchestra she has sung at the London Barbican Centre, Royal Festival Hall and most major Surrey music venues. In 2005 Holly was a finalist in the USA SONG OF THE YEAR competition. She reached the final of the UK National Songwriting Competition in both 2006 and 2007 out of over 4000 entries, leading to two radio interviews and her recent tracks being played on prime time BBC radio. In the December 2006 Music Aid International Music Awards she was voted runner up in both the Best Female Solo Artist and Best Songwriter categories. She was recently flown to Miami and offered a recording/publishing contract by a Miami based recording company (she is also an American Citizen) but after four months of deliberation declined (following legal advice!!)

Holly is also currently studying at the London School of Economics.
