Hollywood Slimm

Hailing from the streets of Southwest Atlanta, Hollywood Slimm is the hottest new flame in the south about to ignite the entire industry. Born Damon Davis, Hollywood learned of his talents at an early age rapping and dancing since grade school and singing and acting since middle school. Growing up an only child he was always the center of attention and due to his diverse outgoing persona not much has changed.

The spotlight’s been shining on Damon since he was a youth thus the name Hollywood, which was given to him by his peers symbolizing his reputation. Hollywood accredits much of his versatility to being brought up in a music loving family that played a wide variety of Classic Soul, Rock, Funk, Hip Hop, Pop and R&B. Some of his influences include: Aerosmith, George Clinton, The Delphonics,
Tupac, Rakeem, Lynard Skynard, N.W.A, Marvin Gaye and The Isley Brothers just to name a few.

In 2005 Hollywood signed a duel deal with Somethin’ Serious Entertainment as both a solo lyricist and the lead singer of an up and coming R&B group, Sincere. His Debut solo entitled “Stonewall: Black Rose Theory” is planned for release in Fall 2008 and Sincere’s debut TBD. “Stonewall” is a unique urban mix of Hip-Hop, Rap and R&B over blazing hot tracks produced by Youngin, Tantrum and Hollywood Slimm himself amongst others.

This all around entertainer is the complete package that the music world has been waiting for. As a rapper, singer, producer, actor and dancer, Hollywood is no slim pick. Hollywood can currently be seen performing all around the metro area pushing and promoting his hot new mixtape entitled TriggaMan hosted by DJ Siza of the World Famous Super Friends. The newest star on the blocks path is looking very bright.
