A maze of rhythms beckon the ear on Holy Strays' new single for London’s Morning Ritual. The Parisian producer's latest follows releases on L.A.’s Not Not Fun label and finds him in an ecclesiastical mood, as an organ opens the proceedings before splintering and swelling in ecstatic communion. Bubbling chimes, jungle sketches, a Laurel Halo-like rattle, acid house smoke rings-- "Christabell (B)" could be read as a sweet reframing of the cacophony of distractions in our daily lives, calling praise for the rush of emotions that manifest as that crazy little called love. - P4K
