Homage

Homage is a rapper from Nevada who teamed up with producer and long time friend Louie to create hard core underground hip hop. Homage decided early on in his life that he needed to create music and have his voice be heard. An interest in hip hop soon turned into an obsession and he spent years listening to the greats and studying the craft. Eventually, his rhyming ability evolved into something worth listening to and he began recording his own songs. 
Homage's first single, Digital Clouds, came with a music video that quickly garnered attention from the fringes of the hip hop community. By rapping about topics which are typically overlooked, he seemed to provide a voice to the voiceless. Homage kept releasing more music videos and started performing at local hip hop events. The response from listeners was overwhelmingly positive. Now people all over the world have shown interest in his music. Not bad for a couple kids who started out recording songs in their bedrooms. 
In the fall of 2017 Homage and Louie released their first full length EP entitled Inscrutable Malice. The 24 track album contains an impressive collection of thought provoking lyrics and hard hitting beats. The multisyllabic rhyme schemes demonstrate that Homage is a lyricist who's here to stay and Louie's unique instrumentals prove that he also has mastered his craft.  
Inscrutable Malice was just the beginning, new music is constantly being developed and the band's skills are evolving with time. A new project is now underway and multiple tracks are already finished. Final release date will be decided around mid 2018. 
Homage's music provides a refreshing display of musical talent in an age where good lyricism seems to have been pushed out of the mainstream eye. Luckily, there is still a wide audience of true hip hop heads who crave the realness and Homage is here to give them what they need.
