Bio

Formed by Glenn Raucher and Jason Staal in 2003, Home to Henry is a New York based Americana Power-Pop band, whose dynamic music and intelligent lyrics are garnering a following across the region. Jim Stellato, the bands original bass player, returned in mid-2013 after five years living overseas.

They released Lost and Found, the long-awaited follow-up to their debut record, Another Life in 2011. Featuring 8 songs, including Pay Phone, Love & Affection, The Almost Pretty Women and Four Kids, Lost and Found extends their previous work, refined and clear, rough-hewn and earthy.

The band recorded and released their debut CD Another Life in 2006.

Their song Tethered was chosen for inclusion on Shut Eye Records United State of Americana, Volume 6.

Hearkening back to classic bands like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks and The Who, as well as misunderstood pop legends like Big Star (whose September Gurls the band covered on a follow up session to Another Life) and Richard Thompson, to modern alternative bands like The Replacements, R.E.M., Toad the Wet Sprocket, Elvis Costello and The Attractions, Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers, Death Cab for Cutie, The Frames and Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Home to Henry are a dynamic rock band, creating intelligent, original music for intelligent, original people
