Honest Thief

Honest Thief began in 2009. The band was originally a four piece and after three months rehearsing they started to play local venues in and around Newcastle. After a year of playing indie rock, they decided to concetrate on building a more 'original' sound. The set was scrapped and the bassist decided to call it a day. Shaun, Adam (Ads) and Richie, began to start a fresh in early 2010. The band, now a three piece, struggled to find the power they previously had as a four piece, but continued to experiment and finally found their way. Happy with their new song 'Fingertips', Honest Thief was born again. After this turning point, the set began to grow and after playing a few low key gigs they found that the feedback they were receiving was incredible. Honest Thief then enlisted Dave English to record their debut E.P and are currently planning the launch night at the Cluny in Newcastle.
