Honey Badger

Honey Badger

 St. Louis, Missouri, USA
BandRockBlues

Bringing the rock and roll back into the world, one less computer/MIDI device/synthesizer at a time. Revitalizing music, while updating American folk music genres, Honey Badger are beer drinkers and hell raisers. Hail! Hail! Rock and Roll!

Biography

Presently, Honey Badger is a two member rock and roll outfit. Lead vocalist/guitarist/renaissance man Colin Helton formed the group out of his love for the classic music he grew up on. Rock and roll, 60's pop, blues: these are genres that have fallen by the wayside in the confines of modern music.
Matt Scherer is a drummer who knows no equal. He combines power and finesse into a package that ultimately serves the music he helps write and create. He also moonlights as band manager in an effort to help Honey Badger get of the ground in it's success.

Discography

Only rough demos exist for this ferocious live act.

Present demos include the almost nine minute blues rock workout "Benefit," the back porch stylings of "Sunday, Sunday," the transcendental folk tone poem displayed in "Holy Roller," and the raucious rock and roll that sears from the speakers in "A Love Song."

Honey Badger is in the process of recording the tracks for it's debut album.
