Born  in Pineville, Louisiana October 31st, Honey Banks has lived in Los Angeles, and Hollywood California, Detroit, Michigan but grew up in Dallas, Texas. Living in (Pleasant Grove) the 118 block or the original East Dallas and usually watching from the sidelines while female rappers used what she has wrote to battle at local Dallas clubs like DMX and Blue. Honey has been writing rhymes since she was 12 but in 2007 she finally decided to come to the table with her own skills. Only a year later she was forced to stop her craft again when an accident left her with memory loss. In 2010 she bounced back into the scene with a vengeance.

Honey Banks also goes by Honey B. and with the tag "H. Banks No Hillary" but was originally known by 'Ms.Chris'. Her named was changed along with life lessons and experience which is noticeably her lyrics and delivery. One of the original members of the Dallas based rap group 5 Star Entertainment, her first feature was collaboration with Dallas rapper Kevin A. on "I like that".
