Bio
HONEY FOR PETZI made itself a name across Europe with its album, "Heal all Monsters" (2001) recorded in Chicago by Steve Albini. This release allowed the band to perform a lot of shows while gaining a growing and solid fan base. Apart from some sparse lyrics their music was at first mainly instrumental rock made of patterns evolving gradually, with a subtle balance and interaction between melodies and rhythms.
After numerous projects including the soundtrack of the movie "Angel's Camp" (presented at the Venice Biennale in 2003) and a collection of singles, the band is now challenging a new approach closer to pop-like songs. Drifting from the verse-chorus-verse format, the new material features more straightforward compositions with simple refrains over simple constructions and a lot more vocals.
The band is currently working on a new album - you can listen to some demo songs right here.
