Bio

In the era of the “One-Hit Wonder” and the “Ring- tone Rapper” it is hard to weed out true talent when it is presented. With Hood Rich, you get a very talented hip-hop artist and much more. Since he was fifteen years old, Hood Rich has written lyrics and songs to separate himself from the average Philadelphia (Philly) rapper. He actually practiced writing songs and hooks instead of battling and free-styling. He also studied music as a whole, not just rap but all genres of music to get a better understanding. Hood Rich has an array of musical influences, but he pays homage to the late great Bob Marley. He commends Marley for changing the face of reggae and music altogether in an era that was dominated by love songs and passionate lyrics. Marley sang about political issues and the real life struggle that people, all over the world, could relate and embrace.

Hood Rich has the ability to connect to the streets and the mainstream side of music.

Hood Rich can give you grim tales from his teenage years running the dangerous streets of southwest Philly but unlike most artist that glorify the street-life, Hood Rich emphasizes the positives and negatives of the street-life in his music.

Hood Rich’s objective is to introduce the world to Philly’s hip-hop culture, due to the city’s reputation for its high crime and murder rate. Hood Rich wants to show that Philly has more to offer then violence and that it is full of musical and artistic people. I truly believe that Hood Rich can be the ambassador for the revival for Philadelphia as an entertainment city. Also located between cities like New York and Atlanta benefits Hood Rich because he can bridge the gap between so called “Up North Hip Hop” and “Down South Hip Hop”. Remember the first time you heard Biggie on “What’s the 411” or Tupac on ”I Get Around”, and you said to yourself “this guy has what it takes to be great.” Well, listen to” Product of My Environment”, Hood Rich’s first official single, and you will say the same thing. Hood Rich sounds like he was pulled right out of 1998, during an era, when hip-hop was strong with more concepts and genres then ever before. The truth is hip-hop isn’t dead. An emerging artist like Hood Rich demonstrates that hip-hop isn’t dead using his song-making ability from both hip-hop and R&B points of view.

Hood Rich also has experience in R&B song-writing. His production team includes singers and songwriters with R& B influences. He also has a clothing line and management company underway that he shares with three business partners.

At the age of twenty-two, any record label that signs him will have many years of success and wealth in return. He has a music video that he funded with the production company. Therefore, with the vast array of song writing and video production experiences, you are getting a lot for your money. Since their early teens, Hood Rich and his business partners have been their own promotion team. They have no problem getting in the trenches and making things happen on their own.

So, if you are serious about making a career changing decision, then follow your gut feeling and get involved in the career of Hood Rich. Be a part of the success that is destined to come to this workaholic who is so dedicated and motivated to making his life better and easier for everyone. He fully understands the following Keys to Success:

1) Time-“He puts his time in;”

2) Preparation-“He is fully prepared;”

3) Dedication- “He’s very dedicated;” and

4) Determination- “There is no one out there that is more determined.”

Thank you for your interest and we hope to be business partners soon.
