Hopes & Fears are a young and energetic Alternative Rock band from Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

Are main purpose is to entertain and to stand out from any other local bands. We love gigging and love seeing the fans enjoying themselves. We gig regularly around the Cambridge area from doing pup gigs where we cover hits from bands such as The Beatles, The Clash, Kings of Leon, to festivals where we perform our own original tracks. In between gigging we are trying to record our first EP which we hope will be released by early 2013. We have close connections with our local radio station HCR104fm which helps us to promote upcoming gigs.

In March 2011, drummer & percussionist Charlie Spackman formed Hopes & Fears consisting of bass guitarist Stefan Efrim. For a while the pair were looking to find a lead guitarist and singer. Shortly after lead guitarist Bobby Jennings and Vocalist Josh Dawson joined to complete the band. In October 2011 Josh left the band after disagreements with the other members. After searching for a new singer for some time, local musician Sam Waters joined the band in December 2011. From then on the band became known for their great sounding performances and chaotic stage banter.
