Biography

Hailing from the 'North', raised in Birmingham, Horrorshow have stamped their boot-print on the face of the Midlands music scene. Built on moderately successful local bands, the boys have been creating a stir since the tail end of last year.
After cementing their place on the Brum club circuit, the horrorshow boys have also supported hardcore, New York outfit 'Gay for Johnny Depp' and the Irish punk disco classics 'Sultans of Ping'.

Not falling into the trap of penning songs above their station, the boys sing about young love, all that is depraved, longed for and ill-advised. Their live shows resemble the sounds and sprit of less promising naughties bands such as 'NineBlack Alps', 'Neil's Children' and 'Selfish Cunt'.
Horrorshow’s live shows are so melon-twistingly tight, the pair could be easily mistaken for siamese twins, joined at the head in a real life, carnival horrorshow.

With the impending release of their debut EP 'Worst things first', the lads are tipped for big things. With New Zealand, All Blacks style Haka drumming and honest northern vocal delivery, the duo conjure up a familiar charm, likened to 'Maximo Park', early Nirvana 'Bleach' tracks and the glimpses of magic from that 'Test Icicles' record.

If the days of the Rhythm Factory were to be recreated anywhere, it would
be Birmingham, wherever Horrorshow are playing.
