"Australia at your doorstep: Aussie BBQ at Cargo"

The standout sets continued later in the night with Horsefight’s noisy and extremely fun performance. The duo’s adrenaline-driven, riff-heavy rock was pounded out unfalteringly and the fret work, showmanship and vocal histrionics of the frontman finally brought an answer to the age old question; what would Jack White look like if he was Australian? - Craig Elliot, The Upcoming

"Thinking about... HorseFight"

I had originally planned to go enjoy some electronic dance music that fuses captivating melodies with heavy dance floor bass lines (their words, not mine…) down in Brixton. But I didn’t, for some dull reason involving minis, driving through Turin during the football match and an incident with a bus and a cliff… Ok so maybe none of that, happened, but it was for some really dull reason. I’ll catch them some other time…

So instead I headed over to The Silver Bullet in Finsbury Park to see something completely different. Something a bit skinnier, all in leather jackets. But it was the first act that really hit home, HorseFight definitely sparked a bit of envy in the bands about to follow! For a start they’ve got a sick name, remember – no spaces – or you’ll end up following the wrong band! They also have the best genre tag on Soundcloud; Duo-Awesomeness… Yep, that’s about right. Two guys from Brisbane who completely ripped it up, amazing sound and amazing energy… You could feel the audience rocking forward as we all realise these kids are good!

Totally addictive bassline and vocals that are like the best punch to the face you ever had. Go download!.. Got steeds, Got Floats, Got Hoofs, Got Jokes, Got Taunts, Got Fight Skills, Got Ed Norton style Psychosis, Got Wine, Got Scrabble, Got Hay, Got Paddocks, Got Saddles. - Thatswhatwethought

Still working on that hot first release.

Horsefight are a trio of awesomeness formed in the muddy stables of Brisbane Australia in early 2011. Shipped away in floats.. their current home is London. Their music can be described as haunting but more oftenly its just damn scary.. They are loud, rauckus, blatant, brilliant , brutal, fast, catchy, capable and sneaky...

The band has already played Camden Barfly, The Old Blue Last, The Hawley Arms, The Shackwell Arms, The Victoria, Cargo, 93 Feet East, The Macbeth, Indo... and more

Current single "friends Apart" receiving airplay on XFM through John Kennedy's "Xposure"

And played Festivals 'Aussie BBQ' and 'Bad Vibrations Psychedelic Festival'

Debut Ep out March 2013
