Forming in 2006 through a local music industry course,the band were immediately informed by the staff they were the loudest they had ever had in the course. Realizing they must be doing something right ,horsepower began gigging heavily and have continued to do so in the last couple of years, gaining them a loyal and ever expanding following.
Having received airplay on numerous local stations as we as being included on a nationally distributed compilation CD things are looking bright for Horsepower. The bands honest, catchy songs and energetic live shows prove that Horsepower have a genuine passion and commitment to their music as well as their audience.The current line-up consists of Horse (Leon) Simpson: Vocals/guitar, Mark McEwen: Guitar/vocals, Pete Hornsby: Bass, and Sean Dominish on Drums.
